Cancellation Policy

Make-up classes are only scheduled due to inclement weather or instructor illness. In either case, parents will be notified by email or text message with potential options. 

Summer Session (4 Day Sessions): All swim classes are four days long (typically Monday-Thursday) with Friday being used as a built-in make-up day. If lessons are scheduled for Tuesday-Friday, due to a Monday holiday, there is no make-up day in the event of cancellation. 

Payment & Refund Policy

General Policy

All session fees are due in full at the time of registration. We do not offer refunds or make-up lessons for individual missed classes. Please make every effort to attend all scheduled lessons.

Extraordinary circumstances or extended illnesses will be reviewed and handled on a case-by-case basis.

Summer Sessions (4-Day Sessions)

$120 of the total session fee is non-refundable. The remaining balance may be refunded if you notify us by email at carolyn@swimwithdarby.com at least fourteen (14) days prior to the start of your child’s session.

Session Transfers

Session transfers are not permitted within fourteen (14) days of the session start date.

Requests to transfer to another available session made more than fourteen (14) days prior to the session start date are subject to a $50 non-refundable fee from the original session booking. Transfers are subject to session availability.

Requests to transfer a registration to another student made more than fourteen (14) days prior to the session start date are eligible for a refund of all session fees except the $120 non-refundable portion.

Activity Waiver

During the registration process, an activity waiver is to be signed by parents. This is required and no swimmers will be able to begin lessons without a signed waiver on file.
